Good Tuesday Morning guys. Well we made it through another Monday and we only have a few days to go until it's the weekend time once again. Those curb feelers are straight up sexy. They definitely scream "EW"

Pintsize725 04-09-2019 06:55 AM

Morning all. Waiting to see what fresh hell I walk into today
Drama happened when I had to leave early yesterday for an appointment so I'm sure I'll be called in.

MsPint, what's keeping you at your current job if you don't mind me asking? It sounds stressful and unrewarding.

Too much debt to take a pay cut looking for something else. I love what I do but the people they've put in place above me are the ones causing stress.

Leingod 04-09-2019 07:08 AM

Irish cream cold brewed coffee and sitting at my desk without many calls so far. Polar opposite compared to yesterday. Good change of pace.

And on a happy note. Could possibly get the car out either tomorrow or Thursday!

I go every two weeks and have been for quite a long time. It's much easier getting adjusted on a regular basis, than waiting for the body to scream bloody murder. :iagree:

Well, that and the regular trips to the dojo...:tup:

Going to give this stuff a try. I've only ever used mobile 1.

I posted in premium vendor thread too

Did you get a PM from forum user Cruz? Shoot him a PM if not. He's got a wavetrac diff (brand new) sitting around for sale - he's got an AT so the diff doesn't fit. I'm not quite ready to make all my purchases, so I told him you might be a good option if he needs to move it quickly :twocents:

JARblue 04-09-2019 07:51 AM

Appraiser is coming over this morning. Hopefully this is the last step to finish off the refinancing. After that I'm gonna sell the Fit. And then I'm gonna do a bunch of earn$pend

JARblue 04-09-2019 07:55 AM

$100 to rent a pick up truck for 6 hours to go pick up my parts in Houston :shakes head:

I could probably fit everything in my Dad's Rogue, but it would be tight and I would need a lot of packing materials to be comfortable with that.

Dude are you crazy ? I wouldn't put unknown, untested, basically generic named oil in my tractor ! For the one or two oil changes a year you do stick to Mobil 1 or a high quality brand name oil. The $ 5/10 savings IMHO just isn't worth it

Figure you could rent a truck from Budget or something for cheaper than that.

$85 was the cheapest I could find. But still add $20 in taxes and fees. Enterprise was only $102 with all fees included and a discount (with a really old corporate code I used 15 years ago :rofl2:)

$20 from UHaul or Home Depot. But $0.75+ per mile throws that out the window.

Found a place that medical staff at work said was good and they could help me. Their urgent care doesnt open until 3 pm and all the spine surgeons are downtown at the hospital today.
I told staff no problem! I will go home, toss a lidocaine patch on, hit some valium and a spot of tramadol, be back at 3 when the doors open! :rofl2:

Hahaha well played. I'd have gone with "let me get my fentanyl out of the car and I'll be back on the job in a jiffy."

Last night was my first night back at the hospital after a couple weeks off. All it took to get me the proper introductions and info was to tell the staff I wouldnt be able to rush up and help them out if they needed it and that the guy covering for me would be around more often. I had ICU doc drop a business card in my lap with the name of this place I am going to go to.

I get my scripts like everyone else, egyptian/pakistani/indian pharmacies! :rofl2:
