Retirement
 

As everyones knows with their jobs companies try to do more with less.

I sold some of my cars this year.This went quite well.

So running the numbers with investments looks like I can retire.

Talked to owner of company today who offered a boat load of money for 2 year contract.

I have decided to call it a day.June 1st will be my last.

I have 67 big block Corvette convertible (matching numbers)that came out of a tree row 15 years ago that I have been saving for retirement project.

I'm divorced and girlfriend gives me space to work on cars.

I'm ready for a break after 40 years of working for someone else.

Congrats on a day to look forward to. June 1...

I have 2 cars that I have stashed away also. A 1969 VW Beetle, it will be the 3rd time I have redone it. Not a part on it is stock. I have owned the car since 1988. I also have my 1975 Datsun 280zt to do that I have owned since 1992.

I was 60 too when I retired. Be careful of Obombocare. I watched it triple in price in 2 years here. I now have healthcare through a christian healthcare network.

Same here... for the same reason.

Obombocare would have been $1,200 a month just for me in 2018. Now I pay less then $500 a month.
