Spoiler 02-11-2019 04:17 AM

When I was a young buck, I wanted to work every day. I spent 8 years traveling Michigan and about 6 other northeastern states building boilers and heat treat furnaces in power plants, foundaries and steel mills.

It was fun at the time

They absolutely will...

In 2015, a friend and I got mowed over on our Harleys. With the attorneys involved it took over 2 years to finalize.

Quite a bad accident. My friend had to get the free helicopter ride and his medical bills were $1.4M. I only lost a bike worth $20k and broke an arm. Let me just say, it was pretty intense there until all the medical responders showed up and took over... :icon14:

Then the insurance game players got started...

Yup, I remember your story about that... that was a bad one.

My friend survived, but it took him a year and a half to walk. He’s on a cane now and happy to be on this side of the grass...

Spoiler 02-11-2019 05:03 AM

Gotta roll now... Later baconator....

Rusty 02-11-2019 07:18 AM

:hello:

I'z up

Have to leave the house early.
Have to stop at the doctor's office before work.
Have to give blood for blood test.

I'm HUNGRY!
I slept like chit!
Flippped and flopped in bed like a fish out of water.

Morning all! Today will be interesting - meeting with the CEO. That's always a mixed bag. On the one hand, he wants to know my vision for the quality department going forward (I think partly because my boss will be retiring and I'm stepping into his place), so potentially there is a big opportunity here.

On the other hand, the chance of me saying something particularly stupid increases marginally every time we meet. I'd like to delay that as long as possible...

Wish me luck.

You'll be fine. Treat the guy like any other person. It's what I did when I had to meet with ceos, presidents, board members, etc. They're equally as clueless About your entire job as you are theirs.
