I wasn't suggesting that responsible parenting is an excuse to race down neighborhood roads. I just resent the idea that some parent thinks their kids are special and vehicles should slow down more for them. Like those 'baby on board' decals.

If your kid is under about 4 years old, they should be supervised. If they're older than 4 they should know better than to run into the street. And vehicles should be driving cautiously in neighborhoods anyway. The people that are driving fast aren't paying attention to the sign.

Kids under 4 can get out of the house at times too though. And you leave my baby stig on board sticker alone!

Which is exactly why everyone should drive cautiously around neighborhoods and the like. Without needing extra signage from the parents.

If a weather delay is more than an hour they shouldn’t restart play. It’s not safe for the players. Texas had that ******** happen in Maryland this year and it was almost three hours.

This was an hour and twenty minute delay.

You have to convert that measurement to inches. Sometime like 33x13.5/19

They're callin' for snowflakes here tonight. The little white fluffy stuff, not the crybabies.

The biggest tires I found so far is a Goodyear racing tires. 365/35R-18. Take a 14.5" wide rim, tread width 14.5".

I have one. It's a Craftsman. 5/8" chuck, 10 speeds. Sits on my metal work bench. If I had to do it again. Think I would be looking at a small vertical milling machine. You can do more with it. And it's precision is better.

If you get one. You'll need some accessories. Different types of vises, compound drill slide, some hold downs, parallel bar set, etc.

I wonder what a decent, used bridgeport and collet set is going for.

I have vices covered, 1-2-3 blocks ect. I dont need a mill though, it would really just collect dust and I dont have the space for it.

You get the drill press now. Later on, you wished you would have bought the mill.

Right now. I could use a mill, a lathe, and a TIG welder for a couple of projects I want to do.:shakes head:

At that age they’re cheap. Just wait until you spend $12-15 at a restaurant just to have them turn their nose up to it.
