Been rewiring my desk setup for the eGPU coming tomorrow. Finished repasting the CPU and GPU on my laptop since Dell did a really bad job. Undervolted -100Mv as well. Temps have dropped a solid 10C. Grabbed some TB for lunch and now time to relax. Maybe clean the house a bit before the xmas eve party.

Question. Changing the diff lube. Is it normal to have just a magnet on the bottom?

Yes and it’s normally filthy. Well at least if you drive it like you stole it. Diff oil smells like *** too.

That was my next question because this one had crap all over it. So I'm guessing everything is as it's supposed to be. Thanks.

I suppose all the fine little metal shavings is the reason they put the magnet there in the first place.

Oh well. The sexy Z has fresh RedLine in the azz. Time to go racing.

yup fully normal, I changed mine on the Z at 1000 miles, you'd be shocked to see how much gunk was on it.

Getting pretty slow around the shop,,,spooky :ugh2:
Nobody wants to chance leaving their vehicle & a bunch of things found wrong with it...then it’s after the new year before they get it back :icon17:

Yup. You should change the diff gear oil 2-3 times for every transmission change.
