Bringing back good memories. My tastes run more towards heavier groups these days, like Bloodbath, Soilwork, and Amon Amarth, but I've caught Megadeth a few times, Metallica (was in the pit for them, 15 feet from the stage - the pyrotechnics were warm; Linkin Park, Mudvayne, and Deftones were on the same bill), Dream Theater, even the Michael Schenker Group. Met the vocalist from Seether, the whole band Dishwalla, the guys from Mnemic and Corrosion of Conformity - been a lot of fun.
But nothing beats playing a live show. That's my drug of choice. It's madness and adrenaline pumped through your veins at high speed. |
