Part of me just wants to get the motor built and be done with it which means a long down time and big expense. At least I have already purchased a closed deck block and CP rods and pistons.

You better get on it. If it is the motor you have 6 months before Zdayz 2019. If you look at how long my motor build has taken it will take all of that time with all your fingers and toes crossed.

That’s all very understandable, especially considering you just got the car back after months of work being done.

Who did the closed deck block?

Any serious miles out of one of those yet?

I'll be glad when the holidays are over. It's been busy has chit at work for the last two weeks.

I give up on fixing the toilet for today. Replaced the tank to bowl bolts and gaskets, and the fill valve and it’s still leaking. Chock the $35 up as a loss and buy a new toilet. -__-

Did finally wash the Z though. All that rain we got and the road construction made it look like I lived somewhere with snow.

They are on a number of builds out there I can't tell you particulars but I do know that it is on Chris Forsberg's drift car and that in getting his car sorted out they learned quite a bit about the block and have make some modifications to it. I consulted with Seb before I bought it just to be sure. I know he sends it to a machine shop to be fine tuned before installing.

I thought I heard it had cooling issues. That might be what he gets modified. If Seb is comfortable with it, I’m sure it’ll work just fine.

Yep, I think the picture I saw of Blueranger's closed deck block they had machined holes it the decking to allow for cooling similar to the oem gtr closed deck block. Obviously I don't want anymore heat than I have currently lol!

This is exactly why I didn't go closed deck. I'll just turn it down to keep it alive. 700-800hp will be plenty.

How much is it going to take to get it back up and running so you can make it to Zdayz 2019. I'll donate $1500 to the cause but you have to wear a pink toto and post the photograph here. LOL Ya gotta earn it a little.

Felix_A 11-19-2018 07:05 PM

I’ll wear a pink tutu for $1500. XD
