I do not miss working outside in winter. Our running joke was that my dad only accepted gutter installation jobs when the weather would be 33° and raining.

When I got my Master Certs from ASE many decades ago. There was only 8 different cats. How many are there now?

I got mine in the late 90s, there were 8. The last time I recertified, they had all changed to 16 general areas with 9 in auto & light truck alone.... good grief....:ugh2:

The tests are $41 each, plus a $36 registration fee. Since I'm not working on cars for a living, I decided to forgo recertification this year. I have better uses for almost $400 :tup:

Notice they changed it from Global Warming to Climate Change. :rofl2: It's to cover up their lies for when it gets cold. Climate changes all the time. They blame the cold weather on warming and co2. :icon14: They really did not count on the sun's effect. From solar max to solar min, which we are entering.

I've seen idiots who passed the tests and didn't know a metric adjustable wrench from a standard adjustable wrench. :icon14:

The former NTB (now Big O tires) were notorious for breaking lugs and stripping lug nuts on customer cars, then charging them to replace them. :eek::eek:


I get my tires from either Discount Tire or Tire Rack. The Tire Rack ones go to KC Trends to be mounted. :tup::tup:
