No calibration required; speedometer takes readings from output cv shaft sensors,,,as long as you stay near 27” on rear rubber-you’re good
May affect cruise control,,,there should be a fix for that by now.

Orly? That's a plus. I had to go in with HP Tuner on the F-bod and enter the ratio to make it right.

Z uses the 2-sensor's on rear cover to read toner rings on cv shafts,,,it's also used for the vehicle's Bi-Directional braking system (Smart ABS)

Let me know what you buy, where and how much as I need one too. Will be getting mine tested tomorrow on my day off.

Morning folks! Saw a pretty bad head on collision yesterday. Truck was making a left turn into a street. I was just behind and to his right. As he made his turn, an SUV came out of nowhere and slammed into him. There was another truck on that street waiting to make a right turn and I think that SUV was impatient and tried to go around him to make a right turn. Truck that was going left had its front end completely messed up, his tool box in the bed broke open and scattered tools everywhere, the SUV had a roof rack that sheered off from the impact.
Stupid people! Stay safe out there!

Did it give you problems again? Im pretty sure it was just the connection.

Not yet and seems to be charging and holding charge. Can not risk it as i get off work from clinic at 11p and w flu season about to start could be 1-2am in a not so friendly neighborhood. Dont want to have this issue at those times. Will have it tested and replaced since do not know how old it is from previous owner.

I was able to warranty it. The 1st one was defective and replaced 6 months after I bought it. I found the receipt and discovered the replacement was 34 months into a 36 month warranty. So they gave me a new one and told me to check my alternator  :icon17: :driving:

Cranked over 1st try :happydance:

Of course I barely got the engine oil warmed up before SES and TCS lights came on and the idle started constantly surging and dipping between 1500-2000 RPMs. Burned off a good bit of moisture; unfortunately I didn't have a chance to change the oil. Gonna put the Ecutek cable on it and check codes and reset all the various parameters since the battery died. Thankfully I can now reset them with a menu selection instead of having to do the manual pedal operation timing sequence :D
