Or a little state called... Pennsylvania! Where the beer flows like wine, and the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano!
:hello:

Heh it's true. At least we're not New Jersey, though. I can leave PA for free, but they'll charge me to get back in :(

eastwest2300 09-14-2018 11:14 AM

Try NY. The GW Bridge is almost $20 by itself.

Not quite NY, but the Mopac toll between FM 2222 and 5th St is between $8-10 daily during rush hour. The route is a little over 5 miles.

NY and NJ are both quite pricey.

I think more spacer failures are because of installs like this.

I have been running spacers on my Z almost since I bought it. I run them with one of my sets of track wheels. One of the professional race drivers that used to frequent the forum said his racecar had them so they could run a square setup. I know of several other track enthusiasts that run them as well and I have not heard of any failures due to spacers since I have been on the forum.

Other than not seeing a torque wrench throughout the video, and what looks like using a ratchet wrench on their lug nuts, what else did they do wrong?

My buddy has a drifting shop and has built a bunch of drifting cars, he uses spacers on a few of his cars... but then again, he knows what hes doing, i dont..lol

That’s pretty bad. The tolls in Houston are reasonable, I guess.

It is about paying attention and doing things right. Using proper wheel studs with proper installation. Paying attention torque requirements and such. Most mechanical failure are operator error. I'm not saying that all parts are created equal and that even reputable companies will not have bad batches or runs of parts. I think if you your part to eliminate stupid, then your chances of bad things happening is significantly decreased.
