We pay flat rates for a season. The lawn care guys bust out the plows on the trucks for winter. The owner of the biz is my neighbor. :tup: at the end of the day if they have salt leftover they dump it in all of the driveways in the neighborhood.

We don't have that. Live in a township. The township truck makes one pass plowing and salting with a mix of salt and ash. The township has 2 trucks and they are humping when it snows.

They do a great job here on the roads. Almost always plowed and salted fast. My cousin that lives in town has the shittiest street while mine in country is always plowed.

Morning all! Another thanksgiving weekend gone, and it was a good one. Wife and I hosted my family, went through 2 turkeys with a combined weight of 44 lbs.

I find I enjoy my property a lot more when my nieces and nephews are around. They love it, especially the hill behind my house. A lot of fun to go and sprint around with them or pull them in the wagon.

They gave you a raise??

They did. I’m up from a single Dr. Pepper a day.

I'm not sure that's a raise. A nickel is not particularly cool/refreshing.

Bought a new TV. Finally putting one in the bedroom since the ex took the old 46" 1080p one. Picked up a 4K Samsung 50" for $300 :tup:

Also got a cordless Dyson to replace the one she took. Much nicer V10 model on sale.
