I bought my Snap-On box in '83 for $1,200. To buy that same box now is $4,500. :icon14:

I looked at the So and other tool truck boxes. I like their hand tools but I cant justify spending $4K on a tool box, as nice as they are. I am looking at something like the Homak RS Pro, Masterforce 72" x 24" or along those lines. I think the 72 might be too big as I want to use it as a worktop under the car too. Something like 56" x 24" deep might be a bit better suited for the task.
Leaning towards the Masterforce (Menard's brand) but the drawer sizing is a little meh. I prefer a lot more 2" deep drawer for hand tools vs. large, deep drawers. I could make it work, but I am being kindy nitpicky.

I can't believe on how many tool boxes Home Depot sells. We get them in every week. :icon14:

That is why I just have Craftsman tool box and a MAC add on. Get a roll cart for working under the car. The dang box won't make you money but more tools will if you buy the right ones. I use air for almost everything. These days guys are using battery junk.

I was thinking a wider, not so tall box would be a nice working surface while under the car. Im just lazy and dont want to get up to get tools while working so just wheel whole box to me. :icon17:
