Thats funny. When I start at a new place, I dress pretty nice. As time goes by, I ditch the tie for a collered shirt, the slacks for jeans, and the dress shoes for walking shoes.. Sometimes I get really daring and wear a tshirt..lol

I expedited mine as well since i'll be leaving in 4 weeks lol

i got my first passport when i was 15 for a school trip to italy that fell through due to that little scuffle over oil in the sand.

it expired and under 16 so needed a full new one. and yes, i've never left the country aside from Canada pre-passport requirement.

Only drink bottled water!!! That includes where the ice comes from. You’ll probably be alright in the resort, as long as y’all are staying at a decent one cuz they have their own filtration on site. Always ask for your beer without the lemon/lime. They wash that **** in tap water. ‘Sin limon’. Lime and lemon are the same thing there.

Brush your teeth with bottled water. Also know that the bottle water is iffy. If they lose the filters, they don’t stop bottling.

I’ve never had any issues with the bottled water just telling you what I know from a client that used to live in Mexico City. I got the ‘crud’ one trip cuz I didn’t think about where the ice came from in my fountain drink and that was at the airport.

Trust me. At the end of a 6-7 day Mexico bender, sometimes all you want is a straight coke.

Been to Cozumel 3 times. If you go into town. Don't be surprised if you see the army and private security heavily armed standing in front of some of the stores and at intersections. Don't wear jewelry. This atracks attention. And don't let your wallet stick out. Thin wallets are the best. And keep it in your front pocket.
