:hello::hello:

Took the gf and her grand daughter to see Luke Bryan last night. Her grand daughter loves Luke, so we got her a ticket for the show. It was her first concert. :tup::tup:

I'm having a hard time managing expectations for the next car. :ugh2: I want one NOW... but finding something that I can get excited about is tough. A Nismo would be nice, but everyone wants $35K for a car with 20k on the clock. :gtfo2: Good Lord, at that price point, I'd be better off with a new one... :eek::eek:

Right now, it seems like the most reasonable prices are in the Midwest. Adding to my deciding challenge, a 90 300ZX NA popped up for sale in Omaha. It's got 114K on the clock, but the guy has maintenance records back to 2000 when he bought the car. The big down side is that the oil pump has not been replaced and that's what quit on my son's car at about 150k. Price is good at about $6k, it's not perfect exterior wise, some chips and dings, but that can be fixed. Interior is pretty good, everything appears to work. I really want a 2016-2018 one.... 'sigh'....:confused::confused::confused:

Mmm I love the Z32 series of cars. But I wouldn't pay even 6k for an NA at this point unless it had everything rebuilt recently. After 28 years, gaskets/seals/hoses just don't hold up.

I want one of those. I have a 125G propane tank I only use for cooking that would work.

The only thing that hasn't been replaced on this car is the oil pump. He has replaced intake gaskets, all the hoses under the manifold and replaced all the injectors. He sent me the records, so I'm pretty comfortable with what's been done. It's got a new timing chain, guides and water pump; and he's replaced the starter relay. It wouldn't bother me to take a 3 or 4 hour road trip in this car and have confidence it would get there and back. The only thing that's not mentioned is the oil pump. This seems to be the weak point on these cars and since I know what happens when one locks up, that's the only thing that bothers me about this car. I'm going to have to find out what it will cost to put a new one in.
