Thank goodness the tax assessor's office takes online appointments. Their website says the current wait is over an hour (which means probably double that). Sure enough, I requested the appointment around 11 am and received a 1:30 pm time.
Gotta take care of title and registration (and license plates) for the Lexus. Plus I'm getting the Z re-titled in my name :D

Pfff....When I went to register the Z, the first time I got to the DMV at 10am, didnt leave til 4pm. Had to go back the following week because of a problem with the Title, got there just before 8am, was done by 3pm. When my dad worked as a Drivers Safety Hearing Officer, he used to just take me to the front of the line. Then when he retired, the wait was only a couple hours.. Now.. a full work day. I wont say anything but people who shouldnt be allowed a drivers licence were getting drivers licenses.. this is california.:icon14:
