I haven't had a day off since last Friday and my next day off isn't until Monday. I'm ******* tired

Rusty 05-05-2018 06:35 AM

Fell asleep in my lazyboy, and that's where I woke up at this morning, RepZ are out. :tiphat:

Man.....was I tired last night! Fell a sleep in my lazyboy with my laptop in my lap. And that's where I woke up this morning. With my laptop still in my lap, opened to the forum. I never did finish reading the forum last night.

Worked 6 hrs yesterday. Come home and hang the vanity and cabinet on and wall of the bathroom. And plumb the drain line to the sink. Finished that up around 10 last night. Today, I got to work 8 hrs. But I think I'm not going to do anything in the bathroom.

Just performed the hardest oil change of my life so far. The moron mechanics who sold me the car last year basically seized the oil drain bolt and filter onto the pan. I had to use a breaker bar to snap off the bolt. Tap into the bolt to further remove while using a propane torce to heat it. And crushed the filter trying to remove.

Focus now has a new proper Fumoto drain plug, and a properly seated filter. Now to go power wash my driveway from the catastrophic oil spill that happened....

Wait until you have to pound a screw driver through the oil filter to get it to turn. After that didn't work. You rip the filter housing off the base. Then use a hammer and chisel on the base to turn it.

Go to remove the drain plug and rip the welded bung off of the oil pan. :shakes head:

I never thought to just puncture the filter and use a makeshift breaker bar. Good idea!

Oil change, topped off coolant and installed fumoto drain thing. Not totally sold on it, but it is installed. Put interior back together, for the most part. Made some meatball pizzas in the campfire. Took the Z out around the block. :driving:Good day so far.

Lost my Kershaw leek knife somehow. Went to order a new one on Amazon. Amazon no longer ships assisted open knives to all of NY anymore regardless of them being completely legal outside of NYC.... Just another reason to separate NYC from the state itself since 11 Million other New Yorkers apparently don't count.
