or you could wait until we hit the walmart before we get on the dragon.. it'll be that last stop to pick up whatever you need for the next few days.
|
you have options. :)
|
That is even better, I can sleep in a bit more seeing our meetup location changed at the last minute and I have to wake up earlier. I am not a morning person, you have been warned.

I am alive!!! And sweaty because it's muggy as hell here....
Seb got back to me. We plan to have 3-4 maps. I will be asking him to reduce throttle input on my DD map sicne it's touchy as all fak right now. 2nd map will be launch control and traction control nonsense 3rd map, is whatever he feels is best. Hopefully new tires get here by the end of this week so i can mount and balance at a shop. And still no word on the spoiler. |
that spoiler is missing

For my tune. I am going to ask for a standard driving map, a fuel saver map, and an aggressive map.
The standard will have normal throttle response and keep all the nanny features engaged. Fuel saved will limit whatever Seb says and be used primarily for highway driving. Aggressive will give me launch and traction control, higher rev limit, and instantaneous throttle response. |

how are you guys switching between maps? like.. what must be done to go from one map to another.. are you using a laptop, plug it into the OBD11 connection, then upload your map that way?
|
its not like some sorta switch that allows you to do it immediately?
|
Well I have the ecutek bluetooth hookup which allows me to change maps through my phone. But the maps are also switchable via your cruise control button.

Throttle response for me is decent. From everything I've read, Seb seems to lean towards very abrupt throttle response; stock car has no throttle response; and I'm probably somewhere in the middle (drastically improved over stock, but still linear, as in the more I push down the pedal the more the TB's open), though I'd have to try one tuned by Seb to give truly accurate feedback. I'm still slightly over-revving as well since I just installed the RJM Sunday but I was much better on my drive in to work today. Love that pedal. |

I have the Up Rev. I use the cruise control to switch maps. Normally I use the 93 map. But have used the 91 map when traveling.
