Won't get cleaned again till winter storage :icon08:

****...I had the truck detailed Tuesday. Wasn’t home for an hour and the landscapers sodded the yard nextdoor. Dumbass turned on the sprinkler soaking that side of the truck. Thanks jackass.

Detailers won't touch my truck. Too much dirt and dried mud on it.

Was contemplating on driving with the top down this morning mainly because it was still a little dark outside, overcast/marine layer and I didnt want to look like a douche. But it was probably mid 60's so down goes the top. Hop on the fwy, and right away I see two other cars with their tops down as well. We all mustve been going to the douche convention..lol

lol.. I have a Honda passport and the gf has a Ford Focus. We always take the Z no matter what. Went to Costco last night, trying to fit 2x 2.5 gallon jugs of water, a 12 pack of 1 liter alkaline water and the rest of the stuff we bought into the trunk was like trying to play tetris. lol

That's what it's like when we pack to go to ZDayZ. My wife tries to take everything. I tell her that if you pack it in a bag and it don't fit. It gets left behind in that bag. So now she is learning to pack light.

lol reminds me of packing all my ex's stuff into the Z for the trip to ZDAYZ.

basically the only visibility on a Z is out the back........and i lost that. not like i ever look back anyways :driving:

bunk 08-23-2018 01:54 PM

Yeah, when we go to Arizona, I take a gym bag and she takes a small backpack and trunk is already half full. I swear, its hard getting in and out, no storage space, now that its a bit lowered i have to be careful of scraping, fuel economy isnt great, but I tell myself that its a practical car!

StevenSlice 08-23-2018 03:23 PM

Oh gosh bunk. Wait until you throw a lip on it or change out bumpers. Then youll experience the "low" life

StevenSlice 08-23-2018 03:59 PM

Oh bunk, quick question for ye. I head down south, (LA area, specifically city of industry / Arcadia) to pickup the Z this weekend. Are you in that area or further south?

bunk 08-23-2018 04:03 PM

Im at the 405/605 junction, so west of there. Lots of shops in Industry. My buddys brother used to run a drifting shop there.

StevenSlice 08-23-2018 04:18 PM

Oh Trips is near disney land... I really hate DownTown Di$ney right now!!

bunk 08-23-2018 05:11 PM

They've closed a lot of restaurants and now have outrageous validation rules and parking fees. No wonder that place was like a ghost town on a beautiful sunday afternoon.

Yeah I know what you mean.

I hardly hangout there myself.

I normally head straight to the park and home right after.

Trips 08-23-2018 05:52 PM

Oh I finally got my rear tires :ugh2:

Note to self NEVER let your wife order tires for you.

She'll order 275's instead of the needed 285's

She was probably all proud of herself by using the sizing tool and buying the correct 275’s. :rofl2:

I can’t trust my wife to remember to take it in for an oil change. No way I’d trust her to pick out tires.

Just wait until he hits 3. At 4, they start pushing your buttons. Try dealing with a kid with a 140 IQ. She kept me on my toes. :shakes head: She thinks 4 to 5 steps ahead of everyone.
