I'm up. Feel a little better about what happen. Got some ideas while laying awake in bed last night.

just think about it, you'd have a brand new bumper, no rock chips, etc.. I knew I needed a new bumper, so I had to get one... luckily, I dont have brake ducts, I'm sure thats more of a hassle.. at least you have options. (hopefully)

Faking FI has yet to return another call from me.

The bumper I have on the car is beat the hell. I had bought a new one and had it painted about two year ago when I broke it and my carbon fiber splitter. I told the body shop if they could make it work I would continue to use it until there was a reason for me to put the new bumper on so it has been sitting in storage ever since.

Yeah, I don't want to get another bumper yet. Because of me tracking the Z. It would only get torn up.

Sigh... I got almost all the stuff off of my car, they wouldn't let me take the post MAF tubes or the LEDs. The LEDs are no big deal, but the post MAFs suck. The old fart that was 'supervising' about had heart failure when I popped the start button out.:rofl2::rofl2:

It looked so forlorn sitting with the rest of the busted azz cars. If I had the time and place to work on it, I'd just buy it back and build a track car, but I don't have either. :shakes head::shakes head:

Now it's a waiting game with the insurance company... I have to call the rental car place and see if I can get the rental car til Friday, otherwise, I'm walking the rest of the week... :icon14::icon14:

The plan is to wait until March to pick up the newer Z. The gf doesn't want me driving one during the winter (even though I have Blizzaks), so I'm probably getting an ancient Accord to drive. :confused::confused: We had a discussion about DD the Z, she's dead set against it, I'm in the 'it's my car, I bought it to drive, not look at' camp... 'sigh'.....

The only discussion I have with my wife about the car is when is my next track day or if I decide to share what I am doing with the Z. She is good with that arrangement as it best for the both of us.:stirthepot:

Morning folks. Heading back to socal today. Brother is in sub acute rehab. Lost a lot of weight since last month, but no tubes, and no dialysis! Did some PT/OT and is on nectar diet til speech therapist clears him for normal food. Hoping insurance keeps approving his stay. He needs all the therapy he can get from missing so much the past five or six weeks

Headache
 

Saturday I step out of shower slip on floor and get knocked out.
Saturday and Sunday I have headache and vomit a few times.

Monday getting ready for work I cannot get my pants on.Struggle for 20 minutes.
Go to work and drive by the shop. Forget where I was going.Stop for a coffee and cannot count 9 cents in change.Kept missing a management plan I was working on.It is on my desk.

After two hours of pain in crotch area I notice my pants are on backwards.

Girlfriend takes me to Doc.Have concussion.
A lot better today.

Sorry to hear about your miss fortune. Please take car of yourself a concussion is nothing to take lightly. Get better soon.

welcome to the club. i had 2 mini ones recently. downside of being a hockey goalie and slap shots to the dome.

best was got off the elevator at work and knees went out on me as i walked away. looked like i was tribal dancing to my desk trying to stay upright. went home shortly after.

That sounds pretty terrifying until you realized what it was causing the mental confusion! Glad you're feeling better.

Im having like triple withdrawals between starting this Valet side job and recently ripping up our back roads in that miata.

I miss the Z, i miss freely having the ability to take out stress and **** by driving, and i got that speed withdrawals from not going to the track. Driving expensive cars are cool and all but they dont have the character that the Z has, after putting all the effort of getting it where it is now.

and this is why i couldnt bring myself to sell the Z. just something about driving it that i dont think i could do without.

plus for what the Z is now worth i dont see the appeal in $15-17k vs actually having the car.
