Wrapped this up around 10 last night. Required a lot of awkward stretching and working from the portion of the floor I'd already completed into the unfinished space. Next up is grout, but I've got an electrician coming in tonight to work on the ceiling fan while I've got that open, so looks like I get the evening off!

I wish I can be a handyman labor cost for such job is outrageously expensive!

Good job JL.

Btw you did say your coming in Friday at Zday right?

I'll be there, yes! Looking forward to meeting all you fine people.

I expect you to wash your hands before you shake mine! I've seen too many of your forum posts! ;)

Too bad you don't live closer, Zoren. I'd show you how to do this particular kind of work. Tile is easy. The tools aren't particularly cheap, but fortunately I can borrow most of them from my dad. The real skills are learning to mix the masonry (you'd like it - the mix needs to be stiff :nutswinger:), cutting the tile, and having a steady enough hand to cut an arc with a blade that's meant for cutting only right angles ;)

She says "Thanks guys!"

She's in graphic design. Family run company. Got hired 6 months ago. Her 90 day review was stellar and improving greatly. Big boss came in this morning pissed about something and just said her work was crap and to leave.

I already got her a quick interview for a receptionist position at the old lawfirm I use to work at. Easy job and keeps a decent paycheck on her table until a new design position opens somewhere.

b15 05-02-2018 10:36 AM

Hope it all pans out! Stay Positive!

Both sides of the Z are wrapped so far. Only the Bumpers, Hood, Trunk and roof to do.

Bumpers are both getting custom **** done to them, and the wing needs to be mounted to the trunk first.

Hood / Roof were supposed to get done last night but it was too cold and they wouldnt co-operate :P

My bathroom is my 1st tile job I ever did. I bought a Rigid tile cutter for under $200. I've got 3 jobs in the house. It was cheaper to buy then to rent for the 4 jobs.

Thanks... I'll be happier when I have open space where the boxes are at. The plywood is for my reloading bench cabinet, when it's cut and assembled, it goes to the basement. The next few days I'm going to see what else I can get rid of through donations or trash. I have a really large wooden shelf system (it's made with 2x10s and lag screws) that I don't have space for in the house, so it's got to go. Fortunately it is disassembled, so the parts don't take up too much room..

I have 2 refrigerators in the garage , one of which is hopefully going to find a new home.:ugh2:

It's better than it was, right after move in, there was just a path from the door to the house and the garage door... :bowrofl:

How about 2 tomorrow? I am repping shortly...

Leingod 05-02-2018 01:19 PM

I've already got her in for an interview. Hahaha.

Leingod 05-02-2018 02:01 PM

She got the reception job. Making 50 cents more an hour, paid hour lunch, immediate 5 days sick time and 2 weeks vacation, lawfirm pays for full health insurance, and the position is basically unfireable.

I'm beat. Long day for having to take an emergency day off.... All is good though. Now time for celebratory Mexican food and margaritas.
