House projects coming along! Removed carpets and laminate, removed trim, installed hardwood floors over concrete (used a vapor barrier and 3/4 plywood as a base, blue screwed into the floor), painted walls, reinstalled trim, stripped stairs, re-stained stairs, installed canned lights in the ceiling, repainted ceiling. Next up is the renters kitchen floor.

I like to think I already do - context clues, man. What kind of single guy has a gigantic clock hanging over his fireplace and a metal salamander on his door?!

Fortunately, my wife enjoys cars almost as much as I do. This is a bad shot of her that she'd kill me for posting starting the project of replacing her stock G37X exhaust with a Motordyne! (I knew I had the right woman when, during our first date, she kept encouraging me to rev the engine on my 350z so she could hear the motordyne scream).

When I was dating my 2nd wife. I picked her in the Z one night for dinner. She said that the Z sounded strong as we was going down the highway. I knew I was getting a good one. She also said that men need their toys like boys do.

When I was dating my first wife, I was a pro canoe racer and I went so far as to measure the size of her hands on our first date to see how big they were for paddling.

Of course everyone knows what thy say about “big hands”....:happydance:

Long story short, she measured up and we are still together...

Picture below is after a canoe race in September 1981 which was about 3 weeks into our “relationship”

(And I also still have those short pants if anyone is wondering)

Mine also likes my hobbies too. ZDayZ. She goes offroading with me. Moab and Rausch Creek. Shooting. She shoted an elk in Colorado.

Pictures from Rausch Creek, and Deals Gap.

That's awesome, Rusty! Glad you found such a cool girl!

Attached a picture of myself, my parents, and the wife on our wedding day (just got hitched in May). I'm very fortunate in that she not only tolerates but assists in my hobbies, even enjoying my music (I play heavy metal in a local band - we actually met at a show).

This picture summarizes the 80s in epic fashion. You should frame those pants!
