Good morning Onzedge

Does our age shows for being awake so early?

While EW is sleeping while his panus is hurting.

That's my problem with Assassin's Creed on the 50" Sony, when I use the PS3. I don't have AC for the PC yet. My GF kinda frowns a little on video games..:icon14:

If anyone has a PS4, me and some really old friends from the PS2 days will be playing the new Monster Hunter game coming out Friday.

YEA! I finally got my 25 yr old snowblower fixed!. Bring on the snow! :D Finding parts was a headache at times. Spark plug, head gasket, carburetor, new head bolts, and belt. The 5 old head bolts was a straight edge 1/4-20 screws. Didn't want to take a chance on them for retorquing. So I replaced them with 5, 1/4-20 flange bolts. The guts of the muffler fell apart from the vibrations. So I have a gutted muffler. The neighbor across the street will love that. :rofl2:

I don't want to buy a new one. Because this is the only snowblower that will throw slush without clogging up.

Crazy thunderstorms here this morning. Really unusual for January.

Yea, we got rain coming tonight with thunder. :icon14: It's going to be between 40 and 50 for the next couple of days. All the snow in melted. The ground is still frozen. And the river is running high.

Rained all day and melted almost all the snow. We have a roller coaster for temps coming up this week. :icon14:

It was beautiful today. I was supposed to go down to the Guadalupe River and do some trout fishing below the Canyon Lake Dam. Instead, I spent the day trying to figure out where the leak was before I finally just had to call a plumber. Tomorrow we'll do some more diagnosing to figure out exactly what line is leaking and what fixtures need rerouted lines for the repair. This should be expensive :ugh2:

JARblue 01-22-2018 08:31 PM

Good news is the leak is slow enough that it is no problem to turn on/off the water at the street as needed for showers and dishes and the like

JARblue 01-22-2018 08:32 PM

Everyone have a wonderful evening :tiphat:

It looks to be just that. I've given up on trying to fix it myself. Called a plumber out earlier. They'll be back tomorrow to get going on the full diagnostics. We're pretty sure it's the 1/2" line that goes to the kitchen sink, so hopefully the first one cut is the one leaking and the only one leaking. And hopefully the reroute isn't too invasive. Two story house might be the saving grace as the master bathroom lines run in the ceiling above the kitchen, so we can hopefully tie into one nearby and fish a new line down behind the dishwasher without having to tear out brand new cabinets and tile that were barely installed before Christmas :eekdance:

I am always happy to look for and find the good in life.

When the glass gets half empty, I just chug it and refill it as fast as possible. Like today when I figured out how bad it was, I just got in the Z and drove around. It was cathartic even at idle :)

And I decided to let someone else handle most of the work now, so I don't have to screw with it myself. It'll get done soon and I'll feel better about the house again despite the missing funds and the glass will be full again

In the end, it is only money, you will make more. :icon17:
Sometimes I just have to believe that myself and move on, even though the wallet cries. I try to look at it like I am paying a pro the premium but my time and suffering will be minimal, that is worth a lot to me.
