Some lady changed lanes into me on the way to work. Hit my rear passenger fender with her front driver fender. We were slowing down approaching a stop light. Pay attention much?

Worst part is it was in the Z :mad:

Her white Rav4 has a very noticeable mark on it. The marks on my fender are very light scuffs. I'm having trouble just documenting them with video or photo. I'll have to clean it up and see how bad it really is when I get back home. Probably won't bother filing with her insurance. Unless I get a high estimate.

Glad the damage was minimal. A little polish and see what happens.

Another local forum member and I were already looking at blocking out a detailing weekend and polishing both our Z's. Definitely in the cards.

I'll probably get an estimate first. And ask them about the best approach to fix it myself. I will probably start with hand polish since I have that already. Then I can touch it up more if necessary with the orbital when we polish the whole car.

Yup! All day today and tomorrow. And even possibly Sunday. Just got back from the dmv. Working on getting my enhanced license to go through Canada. Would shave off almost 2 hours of driving.

Yea. Hopefully comes through in time. Need to find my birth certificate though. My lovely mother destroyed my bc and as cards years ago. It's a nightmare trying to get even certified copies of these things now.
