Sitting here moping because husband ended up with a fever well over 100 this evening. I've been wanting to start a family tradition on Christmas Eve but something always has to ruin it.

Cheer up. It could be a lot worse. I spent lot of Christmases and holidays away from home working. I missed my daughter first words, her first steps, her holy communion. At least he is home and not in the hospital. ;)

We had rain yesterday, changed to snow over night. So under the 3" of snow is a layer of ice. :eek: This is the first white Christmas we had in a couple of years. :tup:

driveway has about 4 inches of snow, even after it being plowed about 4 am. Didnt think the Fit was going to make it back up to the garage but that thing is a champ. :tup:

Yea........it 24F, with 20 mph winds and it's still blowing snow...........Brrrrr. and to think a week along, I was in 85F weather.

Typical Christmas weather here, sunny and 42 with a high of 63!
