Speaking of new suits, here is a funny story that I was involved in...

A few years back, I needed a tux to take on a cruise. I had never had one, nor had many uses for one.

I told a friend at work about this and he told me that he knew how to get a great discount on a slightly used one. I said that could work.

At lunchtime that day he drove me to the tux shop. As the salesman tried to slip one on me, I noticed a vertical seam up the middle of the back. I questioned the salesman as to what that was.... He told me that the tuxedos they sold were usually rented to a funeral home for putting on deceased people in caskets and then were taken off after the viewing and that was why the backs were all sewn up the middle for resale......

Needless to say, I did not make a purchase....

Kiddo and I will hopefully be at COTA early. Ferrari Challenge is free this weekend and they have a few XX models making an appearance. Fingers crossed that the kiddo behaves enough for me to get decent photos.

Jacket:

high armholes
soft shoulders
peak lapels (stretch)
slim fit w/ wide shoulders

cuff links:

oval cutoff with outer rounded

pants:

light break

Good man!

Nothing worse than seeing someone “trying” to wear a suit and looking horrible. Legs/arms to long, to baggy, to tight, not complementing the persons body in any way and making the person look sloppy. Suits should always be tailored, if someone can’t afford a “professional” job, I understand, but dry cleaners can do basic alterations and don’t cost much. Just don’t buy something to big or small. If that’s not an option then always go for larger. You can always remove material, not add.

Ok. End of my rant.

Try buying clothes for 18" neck, 48" chest and 34" waist. :icon14: Most shirts are cut for someone with a huge belly. :icon14: And my thighs are large too. Regular cut blue jeans don't fit. Have to wear relaxed.

Bad Boy Bail Bonds reps are out. :tiphat:

I’m short. My torso is longer than my legs. One leg is slightly longer than the other. Wide shoulders. I work out so it makes it worse. Legs are larger due to working out.

Of course I’ve lost size this last year due to laziness.

I'm not as big as I used to be. I don't want to carry the weight as I get older. Trying to take it easy on the old body. Maybe it will last longer. :rofl2:

Finally... the first pictures in from the Vegas meet up...

One of our guys just text these shots to me from earlier in the night when they were about to hit the town....

Not sure who is who, but certainly looks like they are ready for a good time...

(And I’m truly glad that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas)

Love, Spoiler
