when I got my tune, the change was night and day..

:iagree:

I got a tune when the only mod I had was intakes. It was a noticeable difference even then and totally worth it.

I'm just excited for the butt dyno driving back from Madwi's after a weekend of wrenching.

For me, I didn't notice any of the individual mods very much, but it was a huge difference after tuning. Car pulls hard. My problem at that point became eliminating wheel hop :)

Since you have basically the same setup I am going to have. Any drone or rasp? I'm curious what the Db level will be upon completion. Doubt it can be any louder than my current STM axleback.

So when are you guys getting to Vegas tomorrow and who is still in? I will be there tomorrow evening and Saturday morning as I have to be in Phoenix Saturday about 5:00 PM.

I should be arriving Friday ~10 am. I have no idea who is going to be there anymore. Everything kinda fell apart for lots of people so it will be a light gathering, which is fine.

Want to catch dinner on Friday night? I am not sure of activities so if you have knowledge of anything, please let me know.

Sounds good to me, I will probably work most the day and get there sometime in the afternoon.

Hahah well I have 1 key difference... headers. So for me, the sound is immense, and literally sets off car alarms nearby.

You'll be fine. I've heard this setup on other cars, and for my tastes its fairly mild. Mine was actually too quiet until headers (keep in mind I went straight to headers, no HFCs) and only had some low frequency drone around 2200-2300 rpms - not a range I ever tend to drive in. With the 18" resonators, I'd imagine it's way more mild (I was running the non-res version).

JLarson 03-08-2018 01:54 PM

I didn't have any issue with rasp. I have very mild rasp now even with headers.

Back to work I feel like a small monkey is dangling on my Right Kidney when I walk and pulling on my bladder makes me wanna pee a lot.

I wish Kenchan, Roof, Nissy, and Jobe were still around here.
