Of course everyone knows what thy say about “big hands”....:happydance:

Long story short, she measured up and we are still together...

Picture below is after a canoe race in September 1981 which was about 3 weeks into our “relationship”

(And I also still have those short pants if anyone is wondering)

Mine also likes my hobbies too. ZDayZ. She goes offroading with me. Moab and Rausch Creek. Shooting. She shoted an elk in Colorado.

Pictures from Rausch Creek, and Deals Gap.

That's awesome, Rusty! Glad you found such a cool girl!

Attached a picture of myself, my parents, and the wife on our wedding day (just got hitched in May). I'm very fortunate in that she not only tolerates but assists in my hobbies, even enjoying my music (I play heavy metal in a local band - we actually met at a show).

This picture summarizes the 80s in epic fashion. You should frame those pants!

I got 3 wonderful stepsons and she got a redheaded stepdaughter.

Oldest stepson was a Marine Scout sniper.
Middle stepson played football for the Buckeyes.
Youngest stepson was an Army Ranger sniper.
My daughter has a PhD. Try dealing with a brat with a 180 IQ. :shakes head:

All 4 kids have done good in their lives.

Yeah... and what you don’t really see much of in that picture is the grill of the AMC Hornet to the far left side. That just adds to the reality of the day

JLarson 12-21-2017 10:45 AM

That's epic. You win the internet today, sir.

Very cool. I got a package deal also way back then. Mine was that same gal with the big hands and her two daughters then four and seven. Now they are 41 and 45. Here’s another picture of the tribe of us.

At another canoe race... circa 1983

( and yes I also still have those short pants, socks, and Tenny shoes )

It was just a basic Clouser on thrown out with an 8wt Orvis Recon fly rod and Hydros IV reel spooled with Orvis Saltwater All-Rounder fly line and Dacron backing.

Im going to eventually do my center console in black fabric. But cant decide whether to use alcantara brand, sensuede or a suede fabric from a craft store. Its similar to what docaam did to his.

killrain 12-21-2017 06:11 PM

THANK YOU GOOD SIR! :happydance:

eastwest2300 12-21-2017 07:06 PM

All right boyz and girlz, before I place this headunit on Facebook marketplace, I figured I'd give you guys a chance to have dibs first..

I have a Pioneer AVIC-Z150BH that I had in my Z, I recently upgraded.. I dont need this unit anymore. So I wanna get rid of it cheap! $100 plus shipping! The deck needs a firmware update, the only issue with the radio I had was, the microphone stopped working, so incoming and outgoing calls couldn't hear my voice. I believe the firmware update could fix this. I replaced the microphone thinking it could be faulty. It wasnt the case. Other than that, it was a great deck.

Mr. Madwi will confirm the deck is good to go. Hit me up, if you want pics. 703-254-8091

madwi 12-21-2017 07:16 PM

Deck is a piece of crap, I'd only pay $20 for it.

Got a call from someone I could barely understand with a 985 area code. Louisiana Cajun dude, you are a long ways away from my hospital and no I cannot help you with your hospitals issues. Gonna be a good night. :icon17:
