Im trying to figure out how I could do it. But I wanted to try and cold smoke some ribs. We could then just throw them on the grill while we work. Just need to make sure they'd survive. 10 hour car ride.

Otherwise, I have no problems stopping by Madwis local Meijer and grabbing some ribs, steaks, chickens, and whatever else you guys would like. Same goes for beer for us, and Mt dew for Madwi.

It's seriously the least I can do and get for your guys help. So if anything else crosses your mind, just let me know.

madwi 04-09-2018 06:38 PM

Ribs and kielbasa will be picked up from Sobie Meats.

Easiest way to a man's heart. Hahahahahaha. I'll stop by a few local breweries here and get some samples for you to try. Do you prefer anything specific? IPa, lager, hippy, sweet?

I have 2. i hot swap them whenever it gets stupidly hot out. I think it's dumb wrapping them in socks. Both are pw:jdm. One is the tall oval, and the other is that fat circle butt plug varient.

Leingod 04-09-2018 07:01 PM

Madwi sent me the first one. Hahahaha

Only other mods are the clutch help spring with a shaved down pin because the clutch hated me, knockoff Ings front lip that I butchered, swift springs, and STM axle back exhaust.

Perrin brewery is not too far down the road from me.
Beer - Perrin Brewing Company
looks like Bell's has scheduled tours only while most of the other breweries have tasting rooms, food ect ect.

Bells is near you? Sweet! If we find time, we are going! The girlfriend is always up for brewery tours. We usually do FX Matt and Omnigang yearly.

I am not sure how much there is to do at the comstock park location (about 10 minutes from me).

Founders has a decent place though too.

ok.. just making sure, if we had to pull your center console out to get to the starter button, worse case scenario..

Nah. Center console won't interfere with anything that I am aware of. Gtr button is still a 2 minute install. And the game plan is to arrive Friday morning. I'll rest at the hotel until mid afternoon and then we can start work on the car. Finish up Saturday and mess around Sunday.

Leingod 04-09-2018 07:21 PM

I think madwi is just excited to pawn detailing supplies off on me. Lol

Why would we pull the console apart? pop the button out, unclip wire harness and clip in new one and pop button back in. Done.

I'll let me girlfriend do it. It'll keep her preoccupied.

Double or nothing bet? No changing the rules after we bet though.

Leingod 04-09-2018 07:52 PM

It'll work that way. I'll do it here the moment I get the car out of storage if it makes it any easier. Lol

I'd like to have her remove the 4 bolts holding the drivers seat in, and doing the start button.

Any wires we need to worry about for them since they're power controlled?

eastwest2300 04-09-2018 07:55 PM

im literally running this install through my head... im ready to get to work..

yes, there's 3 wiring harnesses underneath the seat, its easier to unclip them with the 4 bolts removed.

Madwi and I talked about this at length. We will be shocked if it takes us longer than Saturday evening. Madwi and Susan can work on cosmetic stuff. We will handle the stuff under the car.

eastwest2300 04-09-2018 07:57 PM

one thing, you could buy if you dont already have them, are the GT-R dome light lenses.. its a really nice upgrade from the foggy oem ones..

eastwest2300 04-09-2018 07:57 PM

it'll take me 90 seconds to do the swap...

Correct, which is why I threw out the "you cant change the rules" once we bet clause.
