I have a travel rule, well several...

Here is one.

Always get to Atlanta. The most options are here for getting where you need to go...

The Sky Clubs are nice also.

I always like to go direct. Point A to Point B with no stops if possible. I've been stuck too many times because of some issue with the plane or weather.

Taking the Gar-goils for some Taco Bell painus. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cff794f4d6.jpg

When I get on the Z really hard, I'm getting this fireworks gunpowder kinda smell.

Thanks for the offer but I was just passing through. I am actually in Alpharetta for a few days in January and would not be averse to having you let me but you a cup or two of coffee.

Three weeks into this job and district is already talking about putting me into an assistant manager position. Basically going from the lowest position to the second highest in the building

Sounds like a battlefield promotion. Tag, you're it until you get killed, quit, or find someone better. :icon17:

I see 2 different paths here. One is to die a young rich man. The other is a blind old man. Where's your work balance at?

If I am totally honest... My schedule is only Mon-Wed and every other Thursday. I really only work half the year. :icon17:

madwi 11-22-2017 07:16 PM

I just happen to be studying for a couple more certifications which takes up a lot of my time.

Almost like my schedule I had before I retired. Work every Wednesday and Thursday. Off every Monday and Tuesday. Now here is the kicker. Every other weekend, I was off. 5 day weekends.

So my schedule when like this

Mon-off, Tues-off, Wed-work, Thurs-work, Fri-off, Sat-off, Sun-off, Mon-off, Tues-off, Wed-work, Thurs-work, Fri-work, Sat-work, Sun-work.

Work 14 days a month. But it was 12 hr days.

I do work 12 hour shifts but they really are not bad at all. I get to browse the web and put out fires as they appear then back to netflix.

Nah I was talking to the regional manager yesterday and after talking, he apparently asked my current manager if he thought I'd make a good manager

Did the same thing. Spend the first 4 to 6 hours doing actual work. The rest of the time was surfing the net, or washing and waxing one of my vehicles. Or until something happens. Then it's all hands on deck. Life in a power plant.

Rusty 11-22-2017 09:19 PM

Reps given. Enjoy.

Waaaay too busy here, first time back in the office since midnight.
Good news though, Chef at work is going to let me use the grill for steaks tomorrow night. Told him I'd trade him a porterhouse in exchange for grill and oven time.
