mr. madwi, are you nervous??

Hell no. I talked with the guys at the shop and with the guy going to be doing the work and they are all competent. Tow driver gave them a thumbs up too.

madwi 07-13-2017 11:30 AM

Will have to review camera footage when I get home lol.

madwi 07-13-2017 11:30 AM

Seb sent me a tune 4 hours after I emailed him lol. Hopefully I can work on that tonight too.

madwi 07-13-2017 11:32 AM

Not sure I like the Z being in the cocaine hills (that neighborhood) though lol.

If you ever need to tow the Z, Nelson's is the ****. Perfect load/unload of the Z. Great price too.

No. All roads around here are a min. of 60 mph with the expressway being 80-90mph. The shop is about 17 miles away from the house. The Z felt extremely unsafe at 50 mph, I just didnt want to chance it.

madwi 07-13-2017 12:23 PM

Rather drop $100 for a tow than $100 deductible on a crashed Z :icon17:

Transmission fill/drain gaskets are the same? Is the differntial gasket the same as well? What's the size washer?

I believe they are all the same but called different things.

madwi 07-13-2017 07:03 PM

Very true. Wise man bonez.

madwi 07-13-2017 07:05 PM

Freaking tired after Madwis carpentry services were called upon in this ungodly heat and humidity. I might be getting palm trees around lake michigan sooner than I thought. :icon17:

madwi 07-13-2017 07:06 PM

Base tune from Seb is in my inbox. I think tomorrow morning will be a good time to do some datalogging. Expressway and back country roads should be pretty empty around 10 am.

madwi 07-13-2017 07:08 PM

TPs sound pretty darn good too in the upper RPMs.

ScottM 07-13-2017 07:11 PM

Handing out reps shortly. Just finished washing the Z. Hopefully it won't rain tonight. I am off tomorrow :D

What a great little car. It has a home in the other garage, just likes to hang out with the cool kids.
