My grandpa just turned 90 this year and is looking at buying a new car. No long distance driving, but he gets around Houston just fine. And I'm being completely honest here: I'd rather ride with him than several members of my family.

Thats great! Mine were a menace on the roads lol. Grandpa has cataracts and couldnt legally drive, but g'ma did not know where anything was. It was like a rally car driver/copilot. Grandpa would scream out which way to go and obstacles, like other cars and g'ma would just turn the wheel. It was frightening and they put up a good fight when we tried to get them off the road :shakes head: Thank the heavens they never had an accident!

My grandma has pretty bad dementia and yells out "Stranger!" when I try to wheel her down to Grandpa for dinner :icon17:

Grandma went down hill with full blown Alzheimer's fairly quickly a number of years ago.

My other grandparents are 85 and still going strong. They drove in from Houston just last weekend to visit us for Christmas and Boxing Day
