Got my fingers crossed, man!

Yep all sorted out. There is a pigtail connector inside the tank assembly that was putting just enough downward pressure from the weight of it to loosen the ground wire connection right above it.

Soldered a new fitting in the ground wire so nice and tight and made it so the weight of the plastic connector was no longer bearing in it and she's good to go.

Thank god... wasn't sure where I would start troubleshooting next if that didn't work lol

Yesterday was so busy, I forgot to pay for my new EVO-R mirrors. I found unused EVO-R ones local at a good price because they don't fit his G :tup:

Someday I will get the Craftsquare with blue tint and the N1 mounting style, and I will get them direct from Craftsquare. I don't really like supporting EVO-R because he just rips off other people's intellectual property for the most part, but I honestly hate the huge stock side view mirrors on the Z enough that I was ok with it as long as I didn't buy them direct from EVO-R.

I busted out the 3m waffle polishing pad with 3m machine polish and it did nice job on black 370Z paint. 1200 rpm for 3 passes. :tup: A couple passes with ultrafina and finishing pad and should be flawless. :tup:

Tis the season to stock up on MFs and polishing pads. :tup:
