I haven't bothered to run an anti-virus software on most of my PC machines for several years now. A solid firewall and good browsing habits are all you really need. I keep one PC with decent protection for when I visit the dark underbelly of the interwebs.

Not a virus problem on my pc machines besides maybe once. Dey all ms problems or hardware.

Never had a problem on a single mac and been using since da late 80's. Dat is a huge difference when it comes to reliability and cost savings.
