I was looking at someone's gun metal grey Z. I've always liked that color. Mrs. BoneZ said, "so paint yours." She was serious. So now the question is... to paint or not to paint?

If that comes about re,ember there are two Nissan shades of gun metallic KAV and KAV-1

I believe the latter is just a touch darker.

For an OEM color that is my favourite for sure.

For non-OEM finishes I like lime green like above and also something like a hemi orange. If wrapping wasn't so expensive I'd try one of the other of those out for fun.

I ended up with black thinking that if I ever did a color change a black engine bay etc would be just fine and not have to paint all that as well.

I always wanted fire engine green. And nearly painted my CJ7 that color but ended up getting an offer I could t refuse on it so let it go before that happened.

Granted I was younger then. 41 next week I'm not so sure I'd want a visually loud car to DD though. One of those looks great in someone else's driveway things. Or maybe not. Who knows what the future brings that way

so after hibernating the Z since oct1, i have a 3rd person feel of da Z... well sort of.

noticed da steering wheel is thinner dan both STI and GTI but da feedback is great, steering response is fast. clutch engagement is sloppy but workable.

throttle response :ugh2: terrible. honestly dis car needs an entirely new ECU.. besides dis, car looks good, got a lot of looks (not da get out of my country look :ugh:) by sweaty fugly doods :ugh2:

one other thing.. besides the quick lower torque response, dere is not much power from 4K above. my head is caliberated to turbo cars so im expecting dat surge of torque to redline.

but it was fun to wiggle da butt. :p

Judging by the calls we’re getting on our 800 line, folks don’t understand the tradeoffs that come when GPS is used to block false alarms.

First, the ever-expanding cacophony of K-band falses these days are coming from new cars—often times from the blind-spot warning systems now becoming standard equipment. GPS can’t block these alarms because they’re moving. GPS works only on stationary signals.

Even more troubling, GPS sometimes blocks real radar. That’s because the only thing it knows for sure is location. It can’t tell real radar from a false alarm if the two happen to be close to each other on the frequency spectrum. In that circumstance, the real radar is silenced because all signals in that part of the frequency spectrum are blocked at that GPS location.

Location-based blocking of signals (GPS) is simply not as helpful as the false-alarm recognition technology we use in Junk-K Fighter. It focuses specifically on moving K-band signals, then sorts out the ones known to be false alarms and blocks only those specific signals. I promise you, V1 will never block real traffic radar.
