And from what I've seen, the curved TVs can do wonders for glare in most circumstances ![]() Someday I want a TV that is just the entire freaking wall

That proprietary connector is too big to run through my wall, plus its not long enough anyway. It just hangs loose behind the TV right now until I figure out what to do when I get a new mount.

I have the luxury of an unfinished room on the other side of the wall where I am going to mount it. I was able to go the simple route for routing the wires. ![]()

![]() Precisely... also me messing up the HDMI cable Of course, I still messed up something and didn't tape my fish line (thin SS hanging wire) to the cables well enough and it came loose halfway in the wall. So it'll be a pain to add any new cables.

I previously had a thick HDMI cable, RG-6, and CAT5e filling the smurf tube in the wall. Now it's one really thin HDMI cable
![]() I'm thinking the CAT6 I have might actually work as a fish line itself. It's in-wall rated, so solid cable Probably won't bother with the RG-6 again - I don't think I'll ever need to run it to the TV. The wall plates are singles with 2 ports and an opening for the HDMI cable - just thinking what to run in the second port. Digital coax would have been a consideration before ARC.

I'm going to use this on my wife
![]() I'll show her the mess behind the TV and tell her that it wouldn't have been a problem with the curved TV ... and then I will present her with flowers and chocolates for being an a$$

I also dont really see a scenario where you would need RG-6 to the tv itself. When I was shopping for the boxes/wall plates I looked at the keyed units for expansion and modular design and then decided to say F it and bought the big grommet |
