I do in fact install Christmas lights on the front porch and on the trellis near the fire pit. I love the look of christmas lights all covered in snow.
There is only the one fireplace in the family room. When we built the house the guy who did the fireplace came in with a truck load of rocks and would go find the "perfect piece" as he was working. I think it turned out pretty good. It is mainly used for wood burning but it is also plumbed for gas.

Oddly, cant find any pics of it.

Kerry is doing well, dad is going for a MRI in the morning to see if they can find why he is having so much pain in his back. he has fallen a few times over the past week and we need to nip this in the bud before a hip is broken.
