To be honest the 980s in SLI are working just fine. They can handle 4k, VR, AAA titles, whatever just fine. I just like new toys lol.

1080 for less power consumption and freeing up a PCI lane.

I'm just realizing I am never around during the work week or am dead tired when ig et home. The weekends I am with Susan at her place or whatever. A gaming laptop and dedicated eGPU solution would be perfect for me. I don't run insane graphics. But it's nice to be able to connect to my 28 inch g-sync 1440p monitor when wanted.

They are starting to show some age, but I think if I tweaked things they will stay relevant for a while longer.

some guy online stated dat putting these aluminum engine/tranny mount insert prevents da front wheels from hopping reducing wheel spin on the GTI..

not sure if true but decided to get one as da car just has too much power and wheel spins too easily off da line. :ugh:
