Did you manage to track down that adhesive for the spoiler?

not at all. I cant find it in the states. I might just get something permanent and call it a day.

Might of just found it using the permatex part number. Hopefully I have a Napa nearby.

I was really really tired and about 6 hours past my bed time while searching earlier. :icon17: I will go pick it up when they open tomorrow and get it clamped up

I just came back to post exactly whAt you're talking about. I cross referenced the Canadian part HU,beer from the tube in my picture and found the US part number (81159) and looks like Napa carries it.

Napa description says gaskets but the packaging clearly states this is NOT for gasket use. Website was probably written by some techie that does nothing but watch Netflix at work all day and knows more about Guy Fawkes than auto parts he's helping peddle lol

Found out why it is hard to come by... there's a press release for this as a new product only 4 weeks ago!

https://www.permatex.com/new-permate...hane-adhesive/

The product link on that page specifically states it is for spoilers

madwi 08-19-2016 10:17 PM

Just ordered a couple of tubes to be held at the store for pickup.

I used about half of one tube. Two beads on the underside of the spoiler seems to have done the trick perfectly. Cut the tip large, it's a hugger to squeeze this stuff out!

It's probably pretty handy stuff to have around.
