They have a big driving range facility my dad and I are going to hit up at lunch to use the remaining balance on his member card. Going to see if their retail store has anything on major clearance as well.

:( I'm so sad about this. I grew up watching the greats with my grandpa and I actually looked forward to receiving the Golfsmith catalog lol. I was a nerd as a kid.

:hello:

That is a tough question lol.
I like to play around with building stuff HERE
Gives you the prices and what is or is not compatible. They show completed builds and prices for the rigs, pretty handy site.

I don't actually play because I could never get a proper swing down. My grandpa used to have one of those trainer clubs that would collapse if you messed up the swing. I hated that thing lol.

:hello:

A basic PC that'll run all current games and handle it gracefully will be about $300-400.

An enthusiast one with water cooling, fancy lights, and greta power will be about $700.

A full blown VR ready machine that'll survive the next 10 years is $1000+

Now is def the time to buy with black friday right around the corner. PC components on Newegg and amazon are dropped significantly.

I use pcpartpicker.com to catalog and build a decent system. It'll give you lists of every single component you can possibly add and think of.

I played Forza the other day when MS had it free, it was pretty fun. make all your custom decals or liveries, buy ones that other people made (not real $, in game credits). graphics was really good and controls were pretty good too. I didnt try it witht he racing seat but from the lazy boy it was fun.

Humble Bundle current has Dirt 3 for free if you create an account. Fun and close to realistic physics.
