May buy these. Should technically fit on the front for me to drive up on and (hopefully) give me enough room to slide my normal jack under to raise the whole front at once.

Or how about a couple 2x12s screwed together? Should get you high enough to get your jack under the front end.

I'm having a harder time getting into Luke Cage compared to Jessica Jones and Daredevil.

No power tools to my name still. Nor would I know how or what to ask for walking in to a Lowes. For $50, I doubt this is much more expensive than the wood, glue, and screws needed.

I just can't justify spending $200+ on raceramps or even $150 on a HF low pro jack for 2 oil changes a season. I'm not under the car enough to warrant the expenditure.

Gotta love this city. Property taxes going up again. 100k home will now be $9,800 for property tax. Cute....

Well the total bill would be about $12 using 1 2x12 and a small box of screws lol.

You could make these using hand tools in a few minutes.

I thought you already bought raceramps a while back

Leingod 10-03-2016 07:43 PM

I just found this thread and figured the convenience factor would be worth it.

Maybe I'll give the 2x12 a shot this weekend. You just severely underestimate my knowledge of angles and how tools work. hahahahahaha

I almost pulled the trigger on them, but had a lovely emergency come up when the Civic got its fender nailed by some geniuses trailer hitch. Cost less than my deductible so I just paid out of pocket.

Now I am just being frugal and cheap since the car goes in to storage come the end of the month.

Last weekend I was out in my STI an apple fell from the overhanging tree. Hit the headlamp but no cracks. Last time I got hit by an apple it made a dent on the hood. Dent was about the size of a kid's fist. Luckily i had PDR training by then. Fixed it completely.
