In the past we have done that when people's schedules get busy around the holidays. I like most of my family so it is not too bad of a situation, just have to be prepared for it. :icon17:

The Kia Elantra sedan or watever da fak was..was ok when hertz gave it to me a while back.

She has the regular Note. Even more pricey hahahaha

I don't need a race car or something that will cross mountains. I need a nice little grandma car that gets decent mpg and fits my golf clubs with a few bags of groceries. I gave the Civic tons of crap because it was a "performance" sedan that was worse than a Mazda protege from 2002. I can't nor won't complain driving a Focus or Elantra because i know who and why they're made for. Point A to B transportation with comfy seats and a mediocre engine.

Yah Hyundai/Kia for the long warranty. Atleast ure covered in dat sense.

kenchan 09-19-2016 03:02 PM

The sad part about some of these cars is dey die as soon as warranty is done. Like my LG and maytag.. :ugh: so the longer the warranty the longer it will last. :ugh:

why not buy another cavalier or whatever it was that you had prior to the Z?
You seemed to like that car a lot and it is just a winter beater.

Both cars are from a local garage I take all my work to sicne he's family-friend related somehow. I doubt they come with a manufacturer warranty. Def come with a "donnie" warranty though. (Don's Garage)

Do they really die at 100k miles or whatever for the most part? I see fords and even crappy Tiburons still on the roads today that were made back in 2000. I know Ford gets a lot of crap, but haven't quality for them gotten better lately? Same with hyundai. They're almost respectable now from what I've seen and read. As long as the tranny doesn't blow, the engine doesn't grenade, or the suspension rust apart at 100k. Who am i to complain?

kenchan 09-19-2016 03:05 PM

For me winter is about survival so not sure getting any beater is a smart idea?

I guess uber to the rescue, huh?
