And I am the polar opposite. Just holding out for Google to release the new Nexus line. The iPhone is great. It does everything without issue and everything just works. But my god is it simplistic and boring. No proper back key kills me. The top left backspace when navigating apps is just a hindrance for positioning and notification pop-ups within apps are horrid.

And ios10 is killing me with unlocking the phone. no more swipe to unlock. Have to press the power key or home button to turn the screen on followed by registering your fignerprint and then hitting the home key again for it to unlock. Or fail reading your print to finally allow for passcode input.

Don't download it. I did it for my business cell and I hate it. It looks way prettier for sure, but physically working with the device is more convoluted now.

has your iPhone ever taken random screen shots of your lockscreen when you press the power button followed by pressing the home button a few seconds later? only time I experience any drastic lag with the device.

My HTC One M8 is just now finally starting to slow down. But the same could be said for my iPhone 4s from years ago. While they both still work, they're both getting fairly slow.

The thing that kills me is no extra storage options for SD support or dual SIM trays.

The next Rep will put me over 100,000

well when i get the iphone7 i'm sure it will come with the ios10 so i'll be screwed then lol

nope, although sometimes it brings the camera up in my pocket and takes a pic inside my pocket lol

yeah it does sort of suck that there is no option for extra storage, but with 128gb what more do you need to store on a phone. plus they are trying to promote icloud, so you can buy storage there and put it on there. same thing google is doing now with google cloud or whatever they call it.

everything is the same these days, just different names

I just downloaded iOS 10 to my iPad this morning. So far so good, but definitely be a few things to get the hang of. I actually like having to physically press the home key after fingerprint ID.. so many times I just want to get a quick glance at the time or weather or something and it registers the print so fast it skips right past the basic info I need at the time and unlocks the phone. Happens in milliseconds of course. Maybe I'll change my mind and not care for the physical press, but so far I don't mind it.

Played with iMessage a bit and sent a few out that I didn't mean to not knowing it was going to send when I was just p,aging with it. Oh well no biggy. Will see what else there is to like/dislike before updating my 6s+ to it or not. Or picking up the 7 for that matter.

Typing this message above autocorrect is must less annoying and plagued with errors than before. At least this far. Once it learns how I fat finger my keyboard it may just keep screwing up and changing good morning to swampgas Mardi Gras just as readily as previous releases lol

njobe89 09-14-2016 01:23 PM

what's new with imessage, what's the paging thing?

can add gifs, draw crap, and share music from your apple account.

ChaseZ 09-14-2016 01:35 PM

Haven't found a paging thing on it yet

Just read the physical home button press was intentional so people wouldn't accidentally skip over notifications etc they want. Makes sense to me.

ChaseZ 09-14-2016 01:36 PM

And apparently there are apps co in for iMessage too. Though what they would be or so is beyond me. You can now share App Store purchases through it as well.

I want to trade the Z in for a F-Type
