In a pinch I suppose I could cook in there but with my luck it would spill all over the carpet.

I was laughing seeing you burning all that great fire wood in your fire pit

All that wood I burned outside was either pine or trash branches. I burn the good stuff inside during the winter, usually oak or maple.

Ours holds quite a few too.

No idea what a cord of wood would cost. I usually have a couple stacks that are in various states of drying. We took out a dying oak two years ago and I am still burning all the wood from that thing.

madwi 09-13-2016 12:19 AM

First link I clicked on said that a cord of indoor burning firewood (hardwoods) is $200.
