Let's disregard the fact that the U.S. Govt mandated all vehicles be equipped with them by 2018 under new law.

Our Honda Accord Sport has been nothing but fantastic (for what we need). Over 25K miles on the thing already in 18 months. Only issues are cosmetic, all of which have been repaired by the dealership under warranty with free loaner :driving:

Looking at a used Lexus next - my wife will upgrade to it while I take the Honda.

Let me know if you find one ;) Zooqle or something seems to be the best public one around these days (not that they have any 4K content). I'm considering paying for a private one, but that just means I'll have to seed which means I should really pay for a VPN service as well.

I really enjoy PIA (Private Internet Access). They have servers everywhere and really stable service.

My former boss just sent me a private email. New job position at the Government county building for a "comp tech assistant". It would be a step down in title from my current position .But I'd be in a union, have ALL the holidays, 7 hr work days, more pay, pension after 10 years, and student loan forgiveness.

Job will be posted Jan 1st. I'll def be keeping my eyes and ears open. I'll take a step down in title if it means all that extra stuff. i'm just happy if it means more monnies.

5 years ago, I never would have seen myself doing more than fixing networks, PC's, running cables, and other physical/software related stuff for I.T. Now I am doing procurements for new equipment, coordinating meetings with other parties, running a whole department by myself, and being the sole lifeline between utter chaos and a smooth flowing technical standpoint.

Woof. Really puts things in perspective for myself when I see it all typed out before me. They really don't pay me enough. hahahahaha

When you get things flowing smoothly, might be time to ask for a significant bump in pay... keeping a multimillion dollar, multi-national company IT assets at 99.999% reliability, should be worth 100k, 4 weeks vacation and a couple of worker drones....

I've always liked the Tor browser, but it's only really good for browsing. Any real interaction with the interwebs usually compromises anonymity.

I second using PIA. Used it during the Olympics so the GF could watch her rugby matches. Was getting BBC for free. I'm not paying CBS or whatever acronym it is a lot of money for 2 weeks of sports I never watch to begin with.

Hi folks!!

For those who doesn't know, we usually use our own pictures to make a Z Calendar every year, how it works is I put up the pictures of your Z in an album in my profile, and people go there and put a "" on the 12 pictures they like the best.

The 12 pictures who have the most "" will make to the Calendar.

Last night I put all the pictures in the album..!!!

2017 Calendar

Same as last year, choose the 12 pictures you like the most, and put "" on the comments area.

The 12 pictures who got the most "" will be in the 2017 Z Calendar..!!!!

The vote is on now until the 9th Dec, Friday.

It doesn't matter you order the calendar or not, just go there and vote and have some fun.

cheers..!!!

alcheng 12-06-2016 11:32 AM

If you wanna see how's the past year calendars look like, check those Calendar albums in my profile page, every year we have many nice pictures from you guys.

As many of us know, this is a fun project, not for making money

Its a never ending cycle! next thing you know you will have a virtual session open to ssh into another vm that is configured with the tor browser and VPN outgoing traffic

Ahhh. The good ole dial up days by the time you're able to get to a site with all that running.

There is no being 100% anon, unless maybe you are/work for a state actor.

Yah I think ure better off doing a front sway bar or something the Z actually needs help on..

Leingod 12-06-2016 01:38 PM

Always a fun day when you have to start raising your voice against your "boss" in Portugal because he isn't happy I can't mandate to Verizon to install conduit and pull string for them to run their own fiber lines. Not my damn fault Verizon is a known scan artist shill of a company. Also not my problem that you set completely moronic deadlines for server integrations. 3 weeks to switch over a whole AD with direct fiber lines is asinine. Another day in the office....

kenchan 12-06-2016 01:38 PM

Nope! I'm def keeping my eyes and ears open for this spot. Idc about a title if it means better money and benefits overall. Union and pension are my swaying points for sure. hahaha

Are seed boxes still a thing? $10 a month and you just ssh into it when you want transfer/make changes.

kenchan 12-06-2016 01:42 PM

Should be getting the engine/tranny brace mount insert soon.. it's suppose to reduce wheel spin by preventing the tranny from vibrating due to the soft factory mount.

Kinda skeptical but people say it's a noticeable improvement. will see soon.. :ugh:
