I like to control my computer and all the parts inside. I am capable of making a very stable system. I dont need a mac made for old people because "it just works".

I think I need to re-watch the IT Crowd.

I always built mine too, but haven't had a pc in years now. Or a desktop for that matter. So I've been sticking with MBP. Guess I'm a sucker for punishment. At least they quit putting optical drives in cause they broke at the 1 year mark like clockwork lol

Do they still solder in the ram and SSDs? I hate mac computers with a passion and havent looked at any in a couple of years.

so i decided i should get off my lazyj-arse and hardwire the V1 to my GTI. was the first time working on a vdub so took a bit longer dan expected on the mechanical placement side, but turn out fine. :D yah didnt even bother getting those little fuse taps, just wound a wire around a switched fuse and put an inline fuse. :rofl2:

thing is my car didnt come with a self dimming mirror so didnt have the invisicord/blend mount option.. i suppose i could buy a gentex with homelink but den my car's already tinted and no real reason to have self dimming mirror.. i mean i have a compass already on my cluster, so goes ambient temps. and given dat i park my ride outdoors i dont keep a garage door opener in da car for security purpose.

den went for a quick test drive. :p had a good time 1/2

i like my iphone but my company gave me an ipad too and not sure wat to do with it.. its been turned off 99% of the time.

i like macs as it just simply works. as my wife dont are about cars, i seriously dont give a fak about computers 150% and so i just want something dat works all da time.

so i guess im like a toyota corolla luver for computers. :ugh2:

Yeah mine collect dust but I want to set it up for controlling some home automation stuff.
