So I've shown the Z a couple times but I'm pretty reluctant to give it up. My biggest worry is I'll regret not having a fun car during the summer/nice days. Going for a drive is my stress reliever/happy time. I'm also pretty attached to it, maybe I'll just keep it. I kid you not, I think I change my mind like 10 times a day.

eh i'm no different. i thought about selling my z at least 20 times now. i want to get a stingray then i want a camaro then i want a stingray again then i want to wait and see if there is a new z. it's a never ending cycle. at the end i'll just get a bike and peddle my arse to work

I went through this before I bought the Z. I've owned a couple of each (Vette & Camaro) so I had an idea of what I wanted. What tilted things heavily towards the Z was the plethora of Vettes and Camaros in KC (along with Moostangs, but they don't count). I'm debating between a Cayman, Juke, Slingshot or Harley now... :eek:

eh in atlanta there are just as many porsches as there are corvettes, camaros, mustangs lol

when i look at it, the camaro and corvette have the same engine and they perform almost identical, but the corvette looks better to me. however is it worth to pay 10-15k more lol

Yeah, I'm considering going to one car for the time being. The initial thought for selling was that the Z is still worth something right now and if I get rid of it it'll be a nice addition to our savings to use for a new house we're thinking about in the next 18-24months. It's not like I HAVE to sell it for financial reasons, it was my responsible side trying to tell me it's a nice chunk of change to have/invest versus just continuing to depreciate in my garage since I don't have as much time to drive it.

BUT then I drive it and I'm like holy hell, how am I going to get by with just my TL, especially after a crappy week on the road at client sites. If I do sell the Z I realistically won't have another toy in the stable for another 2-3 years as well (again trying to be responsible). So now I'm just thinking, maybe my enjoyment/sanity is worth just keeping it. That was the whole reason for buying the Z in the first place.

I think if I were selling to switch to another toy, I wouldn't be as reluctant but selling and driving a family sedan only makes me think twice. Totally first world problems.

married people problems lol. i don't think i should buy any car anymore. i should probably lease because usually after 2 years of owning a car i get tired of it and want something better.

but in your case, if you don't have to sell it, keep it. who knows maybe if they kill z the price will go up. it's almost 2017 and there is no news of a new z. so you never know

That's what everyone has been saying haha. I'm a little hesitant about the dual tranny thing they use, but the price is perfect for my needs.

I guess that can be said about any car company.
