I looked at a Fit. It looked pretty, but I couldn't stand the seats. very hard on the butt and posture was weird.

Those cars are made for short legged people I thinks. I couldn't find a comfy position either. My wife loved the GTI's seating position. I'll probably just give her my GTI when I'm done in a couple of yrs. was going to give it to my kid but it's too fast.

100k miles, almost 10 years old, and modded. No thank you. If it was stock and the same price, then I would take a look.

Def going to be a Focus I believe. I drove a 2012 Focus Hatch SEL. 41k miles $8,000

Pros:
-Comfy seats
-Quiet interior
-Never felt a single pothole
-Fun steering wheel to hold
-Heated leather
-Bluetooth

Cons:
-Mediocre visibility
-Floaty steering like the Civic
-Weird layout for all the buttons
-Wide turning radius

I generally enjoyed it as an econoslushbox. He also has a 2012 red Focus SEL with 35k miles for $7,500. I'd prolly get the sedan and call it a day.
