The other day I had the privilege of driving my sister around the neighborhood to catch her pokemons. Never thought I would enjoyed it as much I did, not really into the game, but it was a very rare occasion we were able to hang out together...seeing my little sis having a good time living out her childhood fantasy was more than worth it imo. I would gladly do it again if I could. I watched her grew up watching these cartoons everyday after school and now she's in her early twenty and still enjoying the characters brought back a lot of special memories for me. Don't hate the game, hate the players. Especially the retards that take it too serious stirring up trouble and giving other players a bad name :ugh2:

Pokestops where you can obtain more items to catch Pokemon, thus the cycle repeats

LOLLLLLLLLLL!!!

I don't understand the hate towards Pokemon Go. JAR, I understand your lunch frustration, but to everyone else... This app gets people off their asses and helps make communities. A lot of people are meeting random other people and having real conversations with people they didn't know a week ago.

Might be dumb, but that's what makes America great.

The increased rudeness of people, and trespassing that goes along with this nonsense is way out of line. You are learning nothing in the process. If you really want America to be great again, get your kids to a museum and pull out a globe. Play "name that building or place" with your kids for a reward.
I hope the next rare pokemon is the one 5' out away from the edge of the Grand Canyon.

:iagree:

Yet another fun, Pokemon Go story ... I was just chatting with a family member who was visiting her deceased husband's grave in a very small private cemetery. Her visit was disrupted by a group of people who showed up at the cemetery to play this game. There were parents chatting loudly and kids running around the grave sites. Incredibly disrespectful :shakes head:

That was/id somewhat the intent of the game. The Blue diamonds are, Pokestops" where you go to get more items sucks are Pokemon capturing balls or healing items, ect. These Pokestops are located at libraries, hospitals, police stations, museums, and other historic places. People have to go to these places to refill there "item" list to be able to continue to play the game.

Yes people are stupid and do stupid things like playing this game while driving or in the middle of a meeting. Like a few have said, there is a place and time for everything. Drive and playing the game = stupid. Playing the game in a meeting = stupid and inconsiderate. Crossing the street while staring at the phone and not looking both ways = stupid. You can't blame the game for these stupid people doing stupid things at the wrong time and place. You should blame the darn person for being rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, a danger to self and others, ect, not the game. Hell, how many stories are there of people driving into fences, into ditches or off cliffs because the English voice told them to turn right in 100 ft. You don't blame the GPS do you?

All I know is that I see TONS of people, adults, kids, family playing this game. They are out driving, walking, biking, ect.

Trespassing, sure, but any reports of trespassing are getting blown out of proportion

Personally I have walked 2x+ every day from before because of this dumb game, and now I have something to talk about with my cousin's kids who are closer in age to me that my cousins.

Again, I don't understand the EXTREME hate for the game... Dumb asses will be dumb asses... We're blaming a game now?

That really pisses me off.

We [hospital] finally were taken off the list as a point of interest and pokestop.
nothing like dodging morons looking at their phones while ambulances are trying to get into the emergency room. :shakes head:

Children's here must have been one of the stops or whatever it's called. About a week ago when I was leaving late evening and there were three nurses in the front lobby playing it on their phones. ER is a different entrance, but still. Didn't say anything just kinda shook my head and walked by to the parkade.

Hate the player, not the game ...

It is truly unbelievable how everyone gets offended by everything now yet people are more inconsiderate than ever these days :shakes head:

YzGyz 08-02-2016 08:33 PM

They are inconsiderate because they don't know how to interact with an actual person. They only know how to communicate through a electronic medium which is sad but true.

My hospital is trying to get rid of the Pokestop and gym located at the front lobby.

I can totally understand why.
