Can now confirm ART + e370 purrs just nicely cruising at 80 :)

No drone or excessive noise whatsoever

Woo-hoo :driving: Glad to hear it is nothing major.

ART pipes sound good in the youtube vids. I wish I could hear it in person.

The Motordyne exhaust truly is beautiful, both aesthetically and phonetically. Well worth every penny. That said, it is a far cry from subtle lol.

It toned down a lot around 100 miles but apparently can take 4-500 to fully burn in so will see how it goes after this little trip.

Then a mountain twisty run tomorrow :)

JARblue 07-06-2016 08:39 AM

Does the AAM Independence Day Sale include products that are not yet in existence? :ugh:

I have the AAM 2.5" CB and I really like it. With the test pipes installed I think it is going to be a touch loud. I like that though, my neighbor has a old truck that is LOUD so he and I like to rip **** in front of each others house :icon17:

ChaseZ 07-06-2016 08:47 AM

Guessing not but shoot them a pm to be sure.

I do know their sales are discounts off msrp not current retail prices. :(

That was the other exhaust I was considering.

madwi 07-06-2016 08:49 AM

its only a dash cam mic but about 30 seconds in you can sorta hear it lol.

I just saw them bumping the same thread in 10 different tech sections :shakes head:

I have heard plenty of good things about AAM in the past. Not so much any more. Their intake manifold pre-sale thread is a debacle. There's no reason you should be asking customers for $2K for a product that you haven't even produced yet. They're basically making the customers test it out :ugh2:

Sounds like those kickstart accounts. :ugh:

This relaxed way of thinking by kids 'not needing to be an expert at something before going out there in the real world' is just asking for trouble. Like lack of intelligent dialog.. Get stomped on by China.

kenchan 07-06-2016 12:48 PM

Den blame China for their own lack of discipline to be someone. :ugh:

AAM use to be very reliable back on the 350Z platform. I have not had much dealing with them lately, outside of buying their exhaust and test pipes.

Disappointing day on the dyno. Couldn't get our changes loaded no matter what. Sounds like there is a Map in there somewhere that needs to be tweaked in the 2016 ECU that's different than before. He's hashing it out with Uprev so in the meantime make due with 306whp and play around with launch control and other goodies. Seat in the pants feels a bit better. But I know that's just the changes to throttle response etc.

The *** end walked right out on my in 2nd and hit the rev limiter way quicker than I was expecting. Felt silly, but still smiled lol

Better throttle response, a tad more power and better feeling overall. I'd chalk that up as a win

Sooo, how do you feel about WedSport SA-55s? Not sure If they fit in the budget, but we will see. They only come in grey and some blue/black combo, would have to get them powder coated too.
I need to make a decision soon and you are not helping with your expensive taste in wheels. :p :icon17:

I approve! Those were my first choice before the Volk G27 came out. Though the black/blue paired great with my pearl white .

I really wish they came in black. powder coating them might push them out of the budget.
PW is a great color as just about anything will go with it.
