Just a rule of thumb. Most oems will run about 10-15mm conservative on purpose to be able to run chains in some areas.

Another reason why I only did 10mm spacers on my GTI. Looks factory but tighter.

I saw a base running 18's and some wild spacers. Looked like shittt especially from the rear due to narrow wheels and tires. Just reminded me how kids are getting their hands on these cars. :ugh:

I thought of you when I was at the tire shop. A GTI hellastanced rolled through the parking lot. I chuckled on the inside.
